You may know it as 7on7

Position coaching for the players who throw, catch, carry and cover.

For boys in grades 3 to 12 who play quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end or fullback, linebacker, cornerback or safety. You may know it as 7on7.

Every session mixes three things: teaching the technique, competing in drills, and one-on-one coaching inside the group. Athletes learn the fundamentals of their position first, then the advanced work, from former college and pro players.

The goal is a complete football player who is ready to make an impact on the field, and a young man who is growing off it.

What your athlete gets

  • Coaching for their own position, on offense or defense
  • Fundamentals first, then the advanced work
  • Competitive drills in every session
  • 7on7 tournaments against top teams in the West
  • Mentors who expect them to lead

What they work on

Technique, then competition.

Athletes learn it, drill it, then prove it against someone trying to stop them.

  • Quarterback
  • Running back
  • Wide receiver
  • Tight end / fullback
  • Linebacker
  • Cornerback
  • Safety
  1. Footwork

Drops, releases, breaks and backpedals. Every position starts with the feet.

  2. Route running

Getting open on purpose: stems, leverage and timing with the quarterback.

  3. Ball skills

Throwing it, catching it, securing it and taking it away.

  4. Tackling fundamentals

Safe, sound technique, taught step by step before it is ever done at speed.

  5. Coverage

Man and zone technique for linebackers, corners and safeties.

  6. Football IQ

Reading the play, knowing the situation and understanding why, not just what.

Parents ask us

What is 7on7?

It's football without linemen: seven on offense, seven on defense, all passing. It's how skill players get a lot of real reps in the off-season.

Does my athlete have to try out?

No. When they want in, they're in. Coaches place each athlete where they'll grow most.

Is there travel?

Winter and spring teams play tournaments in Washington and Oregon. Coaches share the tournament schedule before each season. Families cover their own travel.

Something else? or send it to Duke
